Dev Log Highlight: Front End Complete, and a Proper Installer

Dice Link logo above the tagline ‘Your Dice. Your Roll. Any Table.’ and the words ‘Dev Log Post’, set against a purple fantasy background with a glowing crystalline d20 resting beside an open dice tray.

We have decided to post our full Dev Log to Discord every fortnight, covering wins, blockers and everything in between. It’s a bit of an exclusive for our Discord members. But we didn’t want to leave the rest of our followers out. So we’re still going to be posting some highlights here. And so, without further ado, our first Dev Log Highlight!

The front end of the Dice Link website is built. Fully done, ticked off the list, and one less piece standing between where we are now and launch. It’s a milestone worth marking, since the website is often the first thing a new backer or player will actually see.

Alongside that, Dice Link itself now comes with a proper installer built in. Rather than manually placing files where they need to go, getting the app onto your machine will be as straightforward as running one file. It’s a small change on paper, but it’s exactly the kind of friction we want gone before beta testers get their hands on it.
