We’ve got a bit of news to share today. Huahua joins Realm Bridge as our Lead Computer Vision Engineer, and we’re honestly excited to have her on board.
Huahua is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Southampton, with an MSc in AI as well. Her specialism is applied computer vision and building deep learning models for spotting and classifying objects.
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to get a computer to make sense of what it’s looking at, that’s Huahua’s world. It’s been a really hard problem for us to crack. Huahua’s spent years thinking about exactly this. Having her join the team is brilliant news for what we’re building and, to be honest, a great relief.
We’ll let her introduce herself properly once she’s settled in, but for now, from all of us at Realm Bridge: welcome to the team, Huahua.

Mike’s now knee-deep in the backend of the website, getting all the plumbing in place behind the scenes. Not the flashiest bit of work, but properly essential groundwork for everything else to sit on.
