Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. We email you a link to confirm it and only add you once you have. We use it only to send you the news you signed up for, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.
Dice Link
When you create a Dice Link account, we collect your name, email address and password. We use these to run your account and provide Dice Link under its Terms and Conditions, and to keep Dice Link secure. If you send us a problem report from the app, we receive the logs you choose to send, your note, your email address and basic details of your computer, and use them to look into the problem.
Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. For a full list of the cookies we use and what each one does, please see our Cookie Policy. We count visits to our pages with our own analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run this website and Dice Link, such as our hosting and content delivery providers, and only as far as they need it to provide their service. Where the law requires it, we may also disclose data to meet a legal obligation.
How long we retain your data
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Dice Link account: while it is open, and deleted 30 days after you close it. Problem reports: 90 days.
What rights you have over your data
If you have a Dice Link account or are on our newsletter, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You can ask us to correct your data. Where the law gives you the right, you can also ask us to limit or stop how we use it; for your Dice Link account, this means closing it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
